1. Who we are

Good Way General Trading (“Goodway”, “we”, “us”) is an Abu Dhabi–based national establishment (Licence CN-1843054, TRN 100464283900003, ADCCI 328518). Our registered address is P.O. Box 10422, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. You can reach our team at gwayuae@outlook.com.

2. What we collect

When you submit the Contact or Request-a-Quote forms we collect the information you provide: name, company, email, phone number, delivery location, product specification and any free-text comments. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, referrer) and, if you have consented, anonymous analytics data about the pages you visit.

3. How we use your data

  • To respond to enquiries and issue quotations.
  • To fulfil and invoice orders and comply with UAE VAT and Customs obligations.
  • To send catalogues, product updates and service communications where you have requested them.
  • To secure and improve our website.

4. Lawful basis

We process personal data under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. Our lawful bases are (a) consent, (b) performance of a contract, (c) compliance with a legal obligation, and (d) legitimate business interests where these do not override your rights.

5. Sharing and transfers

We share data only with (i) authorized international principals necessary to fulfil your order, (ii) logistics and customs-clearance providers, (iii) our accounting and tax auditors, and (iv) competent UAE authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

6. Retention

Enquiry records are retained for 24 months. Order, invoice and tax records are retained for a minimum of 5 years in line with UAE tax law. Server logs are rotated after 90 days.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and you may withdraw any consent you have given, by emailing gwayuae@outlook.com. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

The website uses a small set of essential cookies to remember your cookie choice and (if accepted) to load anonymous analytics. You can review and change your choice at any time via the cookie banner link in the footer.

9. Security

We protect your data with HTTPS, restricted administrative access and industry-standard safeguards. No internet transmission is 100% secure, so we encourage you not to include confidential specifications in plain-text emails.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the homepage at least 14 days before they take effect.
